in Credit cards
Hello!
I ordered an item that cost $2000. The order was canceled upon my request. I waited for the money to return to my account, but that never happened. This is a couple of months ago.
The strange thing is that on my account there is a deposit for that amount, let's say 3rd of Jan. 24, but the next day it's a withdraw for that amount.
I have contacted them, but they say an error happened, and all is OK cause the amount was nulled by those two transactions.
I gave up trying to fix this, cause I met no help from the company, but now I think as something wrong happened, and the huge amount of money, then I gotta fight.

Does the amount show as a debit on your account that you need to pay?Life in the slow lane1

Have you received a statement from the credit card company that shows that you owe (the GBP equivalent of) $2000?

Got a $10000 credit. When I add what have gone in and out of the account since I got it, it's correct, but the -$2000 and +$2000 on the statement have never happened.0 -
-$2000 and +$2000 do cancel each other out, unless you've had two debits of $2000 on your card.
I'm sure I'm not alone in not seeing what the actual problem is.0 -

I'm sure I'm not alone in not seeing what the actual problem is.I checked the account several times a day for a long time. I was first in contact with the shop, then the ones that provided the payment serivce (Klarna). They said the money would be back in 5-7 days, which didn't happen. I then was in contact with the CC company, which did nothing.$2000 is a lot, so it has caused me much worry.0 -
