Looking for some advice please as I don’t know what I’m doing?
im on the loyal Octopus 16m v3 fix. According to the money saving club, I could switch to ecotricity 12m fix and save £184 per year, based on my years consumption (gas & electricity).

I’m a bit confused- what’s the downside? Should I switch? Sorry for basic question, it’s super confusing!

@ Ladybug. 1. You only show the Gas price with Ecotricity. Gas looks cheaper for your use with Octopus especially over the summer as you will probably use less gas and the Standing Charge with Ecotricity will cost you 70p a week extra.
2. There is a huge exit fee of £150 with Ecotricity if a cheaper tariff comes over the summer. You can jump to any cheaper tariff wit Octopus without any penalty.0 -
I have fix til sept with Outfox. Should I switch to a different fix now and pay £50 exit or wait til current fix expires. Not a high user but London based0
