Good morning
In order to help a family member I am looking to buy a property jointly with them as they cant afford it on there own. The funds are coming from savings on my side, and sale of property on theres. As my half will be as a ‘second time buyer’ and theres as a ‘home mover’, how will stamp duty apply in these circumstances please? Thankyou very much.

what do you mean?
second time buyer - do you mean you will end up owning 2 properties?
if yes, then higher rate SDLT applies to the whole purchase cost, it is not split between you and them1 -
