Shell garage Newcastle Airport

Hi, I received a PCN for picking up a relative (who works at the airport) in a restricted area in the Shell garage back in May 24. I've had several letters and ignored them thus far, but have now received a letter from BW Legal asking for payment of said PCN.
Any advise on fighting these rip off merchants would be great

To get advice from the regulars her I suggest you post an image of the letter with any personal details or reference numbers redacted but any dates showing.
Is it a Letter Before Action or a County Court Claim?
Just as important - read the Newbies thread.3 -
The precise location matters because if it’s airport land you definitely won’t be paying anything.Do not, in any case, reveal the identity of the driver.1

I think it's a letter before action. The Shell filling station at Newcastle airport is where this has arisen from
I'll have a read through the newbies thread, thank you0 -
Await the letter before claim
Interesting site in that they use a contract from a dissolved firm ( from memory )1 -
Would a complaint letter to the land owner (Newcastle airport ) work?
I've typed up the following but not sent yet.
To whom it may concern,I would like to Complain and appeal 2 PCNs for allegedly dropping off/picking up from a restricted area, namely Shell garage (Skyway filling station 1845) which is on airport land.I believe that these charges are unfair and extortionate at £100 per time and believe that the land falls under the airports own bylaws, which are not enforceable by a private parking firm.I give notice to fight this all the way to court and will seek to counterclaim for my own time and expenses should they be pursued.Kind regards0 -
"To whom it may concern"...
Isn't that what you write when sticking a notice on a lamppost and you have absolutely no idea who might read it?
Suggest it would be more appropriate to start with "Dear Sirs".2 -

Just wait for the Letter of / Before Claim.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
