Fines while driving in France

Hi there, I was in a holiday in France and I think I had a speeding ticket with a flash camera. It was a few days ago but I was wondering how this works? will the car rental company send me the fine?

Happened to me last year, I was doing 64km/ph in a 60km/ph zone. Apparently France applies fines for 5% over the posted limit. The car hire company passed my details to the french authorities (charged me for that) then I received a fine, payable online.1

Apologies for vering off topic somewhat - but is it still the law in France that white headlights are illegal ?Many years ago my dad drove over to the continent and had to buy special clip over amber tinted headlight covers - they also diverted the dipped beam to allow for driving on the right.1

If they don't, there's currently no simple, cost effective way of France enforcing a speeding penalty in the UK. One of the few benefits of Brexit....2
