Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers x
Damp here. I have put a wash on and have a few errands to run today plus it's the pub quiz tonight. DH will continue with the electrics in DD's room and thankfully I am not needed. I managed some crafting time yesterday afternoon and finished my latest book.
Hope you're okay @snoozer? Are you home yet? x
Enjoy the zoo trip @WickedLady4 - with any luck it will be quiet as the weather isn't all that.
Rob's sister @RedRuby1231!!! No words. Enjoy the baking today x
Hope scoobymare is on the mend @mehefin, such a worry for you x
Have a good day everyone

Hi everyone,
I am home thank you all. It was a long day yesterday waiting for a cardiologist but they eventually brought me a bed. I'm ok though, I think it was the result of the horrible virus I had. The problem is that my ECG has some waves that go up instead of down and causes my heart to skip beats, I'm used to that but the pain was new. I have to have some further tests but hopefully it won't show anything too drastic. I can't fault the staff but obviously they are very busy at the moment.
I'm tired today but taking it easy. The family are going to London for a few days so it'll be quiet. We were supposed to have Nate yesterday but Chris took the day off instead.
I hope you all have a good day.13 -
Morning all. Feeling milder today but it's still grey and miserable with a forecast of light rain showers and a moderate breeze for the afternoon. Pretty much the same tomorrow except the breeze will turn into gusty winds. Hopefully March will be an improvement!
One advantage of being confined to the house is that much needed deep cleaning is happening. I've ordered some carpet shampoo so I can clean the living room carpet sometime soon. I'll have to remind myself of how the Vax works and it will definitely have to be done in sections over two/three days rather than one.
I made a start on the kitchen store cupboards yesterday and have done one, two more to go. No nasty surprises of OOD stuff but I've left a couple of things out on an unused corner of the worktop to remind myself to use them up. The only really pressing job today is to take the meter readings and send them in. Not looking forward to that!
Tea tonight is the leftover beef casserole. I was going to put it in a pie dish and add a suet crust pastry topping to it but that means putting the oven on for just one thing (not happening) so instead it can go in a pan on the hob with dumplings with it. Same thing, just a different way of cooking it!
@snoozer - Glad to hear you're home again, I hope you don't have to wait too long for the further tests and nothing drastic shows up. Take it easy and let others pick up the slack.
Safe journeys for the travellers, healing wishes for the Poodles, calming thoughts for the frazzled and the usual hugs where wanted or needed. Take care, stay safe. X
Be kind to others and to yourself too.12 -
Morning
Sadly Scooby deteriorated overnight and I had to make the hard decision this morning to put her out of her pain. I had her for over 26years and she was the last big link in my life to Dawn. I shall be going off radar for a while to lick my wounds.
