QDR Solicitors Parking Charge Debt Collection

I orgininally parket in a bay of the side of a side road in July over the course of a a week.
I recieved a ticket two weeks later and I paid the second the letter came. Honest mistake on my behalf, but then in November I recieved a letter for £160 from ZZPS saying I owed this money for a unpaid parking charge in July. I then contacted ZZPS by phone and email saying I had already paid this charge. They responded a month later saying it was for a different time.
I then responded saying I would like to get in contact with the Original giver of the notice LDK Security Group to discuss the amount being reduced to the orignal amount as I never recieved a warning about this charge until ZZPS mailed me. I was hit with months of back and forward on both email and phone saying "We can't contact our clients or give you their contact information". I then spent hours on Google trying to find some sort of contact information for LDK. Only to be met with unknown mobile numbers and links to other 'departments' that said they couldn't help me.
Until today (19/02/2025), when I recieved an email from QDR Solicitors saying that the debt had been passed on and the amount was still required and the claim has been put on hold for 2 weeks while payment is awaited. I know that QDR is just another debt collection agency, but im wondering what my next steps should be.
Thanks.

Having paid up in the past they'll be expecting you to cough up again. Advice here is no paying no phoning PPC or debt agencies eveything has to be in writing. Read NEWBIES thread Announcement Post 4 then Post 2.
Do DVLA hold current address for you? Did you move home sometime and forget to update address on your V5C document?1 -
Just ignore QDR.
in fact the letter appears to come from ZZPS using QDR headed notepaper.
Stop trying to find ways to ring people like this motley crew from a rogue industry!
Sit tight. Do nothing except the below.
By going confidently into the 'ignore' stance, the only steps to take (because you MUST check every letter) are:
- Tell them if you move house within 6 years.
- Ignore the tedious £170 threatograms shown in pictures in the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread.
- Come back if you get a solicitor's LBC as per the 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread.
Nobody pays a penny unless a Judge says so. There is no risk AT ALL in defending a court claim. No CCJ. No bailiffs.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
