TalkTalk Broadband renewal due? ALWAYS CHAT TO THEM FIRST!

My TT contract (Fibre 65+mobile) is due to expire soon and I got several emails asking me to renew. If I had simply accepted the new price (£33/mnth) then I would also have had to renew my mobile contract (which was previously free as it was included in previous package) which would have cost me approx £5/mnth.
So I used the online Chat facility and before I had the chance to haggle (Vodafone deal was cheaper) they immediately offered me a 24 month deal at £27 with free mobile SIM (from May 2025). So this is actually cheaper than my current contract.
TT have always been very fair to me and I especially like their free landline service of CallSafe which vets callers and also allows you to block callers. I never get scam calls.
You do have to chat/haggle though...

I was given three options via email best option at the moment was do nothing and go out of contract remaining on £26 until April go up then by CPI instead of £3
The worst option was offered online meaning come April 2026 a cost of £40.950
