Fix a dent before selling?
I have a 2015 Mini 🚗 in a great condition that I have been thinking to sell / trade in and get a newer car. Well, great condition, except for one bit - a few weeks ago I swiped a low wooden fence with passenger door and it now has a foot sized dent, with a small bit of paint chipped off. I've looked at getting it fixed and was quoted £725.
From googling, the value of the car is about 6k and I am debating whether to get the door fixed?

One thing you could do is get a quote from one of the Smart repair outfits - there's a good chance they could repair it for a lot less than £725.
Sell or trade in? If you're trading it in then it probably won't matter all that much - the dealer will repair it for a lot less than you'd be charged. If you're selling it privately then it may be worth getting it fixed, especially if you can get it sorted for not too much.SunnyCat said:I have a 2015 Mini 🚗 in a great condition that I have been thinking to sell / trade in2 -
