Landlord refuses to give back deposit

You don't ask for it back from the LL you ask the DPS for it. They will then ask the LL if he disputes this and between you, you agree how much you should be refunded. The LL is entitled to ask for re-letting costs but should provide you with an invoice to prove samepinkshoes said:
