Has Coventry BS pulled the 4.85% easy access 4?

My parents had to fill in a paper form because they wanted a joint account. I posted it back to Coventry yesterday but I can't find the account listed anywhere on their website and the page I had bookmarked loads an easy access 5 at 4.66%.

It’s not like they’ve missed out - the rate on the account they applied to would also have dropped

I was just in time for the 4.85% before the rate cut. Now 4.66%
  • Don’t fret…higher interest rates will be available again soon when inflation continues today’s climb..
  • @Cit6 where are you seeing the rate being cut to 4.66%?  I opened the 4 Access Saver at 4.85% with just £1 to start with, no email recevied yet from them for that particular account (probably because it's only £1 on there - but did get emails emails about rate drops on my other Coventry accounts).

On the Coventry BS web site link below there's no mention of the 4 Access Saver, or any accounts that currently have 4.85% AER

That rate change notice is from December, not the latest round of cuts (it has the effective date shown against each account)

Not so sure on that @DirtyConcrete as the PDF shows the new rates effective 3 and 4 March 2025

  • I can't post links yet, but that screenshot is different to the pdf I see when clicking the link in your previous post!  The 4 Access Saver is showing in the list of closed accounts, still at 4.85% but I don't think that list shows any planned future rate changes until they take place
  • Maybe the PDF is cached from the last rate change on your browser so not downloading it again, Try a differnet browser?  It would be good to think its staying at 4.85% but I'm sure that'll drop by 0.25% and they've just missed it from the documentation.

4 Access Saver went NLA 13/02.

The rate on it as at today is 4.85% with no notification of a reduction as yet.

Can't find your account? Look in the 'Closed Accounts'.
