RAC Renewal Ditched

I missed my reminder last to shop around for breakdown cover and ended up with an RAC renewal at a cost of £197.99. So when this year's renewal came up I was straight onto it. The renewal price was £272.99! I tried ringing them to see what they could reduce it to, but the lines were closed. Went to AutoAid instead - via the MSE link - and got a year's cover for £57.28 - and the addition of a spouse was free.
Just need to remember to call RAC tomorrow and cancel the renewal!

RAC breakdown cover renewal just received for£564.99 for two drivers and two cars and home start. Last year was£344.99. Rang to complain and it was reduced to £324.99. Always haggle, but how can they increase it by £2200
