Halifax mortgage lending experiences

Hi everyone,
I’m only asking out of curiosity and I appreciate everyone’s situations are different so does not guarantee in any way that the same would apply to me, however I’m looking to understand people’s experiences with applying for a mortgage with Halifax.

We’re FTB, 10% deposit, combined salary of £96k, looking to borrow £300k.
How many people were only one payslip? I’ve seen a lot of experiences and some instances where it seems they didn’t even ask for that.
Only reason I ask is I moved off dividends which I was only on for 5 months (only a 10% shareholder so below 25% limit I believe) and have moved back onto salary now so can’t build up the 3 months payslips if we want to go for the house we’ve had an offer accepted on.
Just trying to give myself some reassurance as I’m panicking like mad at the moment.
We’re using a broker so not guaranteed to go with Halifax but from our conversations it seems like one of the more likely routes.

Your broker is best placed to guide you. Sounds as if you application is more nuanced than simply dividends or salary.0
