One Parking Solution Ltd/ Moorside Legal

Hi guys.
I have several health conditions - extreme scoliosis, depression and anxiety and am awaiting my diagnosis for ADD. In the early evening of August last year I was driving home to kent when I experienced a severe muscle spasm and my back 'went' so to speak. I had to pull over at the nearest location and that was a car park managed by one Parking solution Ltd in Brighton. I got a friend to come and get me and I was forced to spend the night in Brighton to rest. I then left early the next morning when things had calmed down and I felt safe to drive.
When I returned to my car I had a PCN on it. As i struggle hugely with my mental health and staying on top of things I stupidly forgot to try and appeal in the first 28 days and now have lost that right.
I have recieved numerous letters from OPS, various debt collectors and now Moorside legal. After ignoring all of them I eventually decided to phone Moorside legal and explain what happened. I was instructed to wait for the letter of claim and at this point would have the opportunity to appeal then.
Should I appeal when I receive the letter of claim or should I let this go to court? Apologies but I've tried reading through various threads and looked at letter templates but feel lost in it all due to my inability to properly focus on things and the huge anxiety this has caused me.
The last letter I received from Moorside legal is telling me if I don't set up a payment plan and they issue a County Court claim that "this could significantly increase the amount you owe".
I am unemployed and in receipt of PIP for my health conditions so am reluctant to set up a payment plan for £170.
I really appreciate your input on this. Many thanks

Too late for any appeals , which would have been rejected anyway
Do not phone anyone, especially not debt collectors or Moorside Legal
Do not pay anyone
Wait for a Letter of Claim from Moorside Legal giving 30 days notice and then come back to this thread for further advice2 -

We'll help you defend, or because you are vulnerable and might miss deadlines, you may need extra help: you can ask Contestor Legal to apply to strike the Claim out using their no-win-no-fee offer, which we quite like!
Google them. They can only step in when you get the claim, but don't delay. They know what they are doing with private parking cases (rare for legals) and can get the whole claim struck out with one application.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
