I’m due to leave edf in March as the essential apr 2025 is due to end. They’ve sent me an email saying they’ll give me £100 to stay. Is this a new tactic?

Yes sorry, i initiated a move to outfox the market a couple of days ago due to my April fix coming to an end and the email from Martin suggesting we look at alternatives.0

I think it was the Christmas before last where they offered a £100 bill credit to get a smart meter.

EDF are currently offering £100 per meter bill credit for geting smart meters installed. My friend signed up for this but was then informed they had no installation booking dates free so now on a waiting list (however long that may be).0

I guess it depends on your usage Vs the rates with outfox Vs with EDF
I'm with octopus and if they offered me £200 to stay I'd snap that up (my direct debit is £20 because of solar panels and good insulation).
