    I got my First Direct payment of £175. Thanks for all the advice.
    Now for the NatWest £150 bonus, hopefully.
    According to MSE the criteria is;

    - Open a new NatWest Reward account (or already have one).
    - Switch in a non-NatWest, RBS or Ulster Bank account online or via the mobile app.
    - Pay in £1,250+ & log in to mobile banking within 60 days.
    - The £150 is paid within 30 days of meeting the above criteria.

    Has anyone here taken advantage of this one? And if so, is the above correct?

    The link is here: https://www.natwest.com/current-accounts/switch-your-banking-to-natwest.html

    You should check these yourself to ensure nobody here advises you incorrectly by mistake

    People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

    Congratulations 😁 definitely worth doing. I had a big vet bill last month and 2 bank bribes covered it 😁

    If £300-£350 is a big vet bill for you, definitely consider insurance or putting aside money, even a small animal like a cat you can get into the thousands for scans and x-rays, hundreds for blood tests etc

    Thank you. It's a rabbit, and we've never had costs that outweigh the cost of insurance before so it's been unexpected. I will look into it.

    The last time I took my cat to the vets it cost £90 and to be told my cat was a diva and referred me to a website.  Thankfully part of my last switch paid for it.
