Jet2 complaints handling

We booked Sol Arona Tenerife this Febuary. We were allocated a Sol room. Unfortunately the bed was very hard with springs utting into the body. Impossible to sleep. Asked for bed topper next morning. That proved of no use. After two nights without sleep asked the Jet2 rep for help. He contacted the customer services at the hotel. They offered a room with a comfortable bed but charged me 360 euros for the remaining 9 nights. Offer taken, we needed to sleep. We contacted Jet2, and customer services said they had not any complaints about the beds but they would monitor the situation. Further research on the net clearly shows there are issues with the beds and another Sol Arona customer had to pay 30 euros a day for a bed to sleep in.Jet2 should not send clients to hotels where sleep is difficult.

    Jet2 for holidays you can trust! 

    Our allocated room in a 4* Gran Canaria hotel for 14 nights over Christmas / New Year was sandwiched above a public bar and below the hotel restaurant. The noise went on until gone 11pm (having been up since silly o'clock to travel we were looking forward to an early night) and resumed at 6:30am at which point I went and berated the night manager at reception. We were subsequently allocated another room. 

    I also contacted Jet2 as we had paid them a lot of money and had a torrid first night. Their excuse was that they have no control over room allocation and had not received any previous complaints (sound familiar?!). They should not be allowing their clients to be placed in such rooms for one night let alone 14 and certainly not at full price. If they cannot guarantee this how can they advertise holidays you can trust?
