Selling a house.

I have a house to sell a couple of agents where advising the usual route board viewing and offers which been done for numerous years. The two I had today are advising the auction route which they say the house will sell quicker and at the asking reserve price. Has anyone been down the auction route and is it as good as they are trying to sell it to me.

Comments

  • If the “modern method of auction “ then that is generally advised against on here. A traditional auction, you’d probably get less than selling through an estate agent, but once it’s sold it’s sold, so depends what your priorities are around the sale.
