Hello, I'm a newbie here. I have received an email from HMRC saying that my tax code has been lowered. My circumstances have not changed, my job has not changed. There will be notes further down the page that explain why HMRC have issued the revised tax code.
Is it for this tax year (2024 - 25) or next tax year (2025 - 26)?
If you really can't see from the letter the notes that explain the change, you could post a copy of the letter (with all personal information redacted) in this thread.
