It will go up "with inflation" from £30 to £35Obviously "inflation" is 17%(Actually, because we peasants are too stupid to understand odd pounds and pence, HMRC thoughtfully help out by rounding up to the nearest £5.)I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

My 66 plate was £30 for the first 7 year, its now £35.0

Band C (111-120g) has been £30 since 2010, when it was reduced from the £35 the new band had been introduced at the previous year.
Inflation alone takes £30 in 2010 to £45.48 at the end of December...
In 2006, a car with those VED emissions would have been £40/year, the real-terms equivalent of £67.83
In 2003, a diesel with those VED emissions would have been £85/year, the real-terms equivalent of £152.56
In 1996, VED was a flat rate for every vehicle - £145/year, the real-terms equivalent of £285 now.1 -
