Could someone please explain this night time tariff?

Get cheaper energy at night between 12am and 5pm, with a night rate of just 7.9p per kWh - fixed for 13 months."

Which bit needs explaining?- It's an EV tariff from BG.- For five hours a night, your electricity is 7.9p/kWh.- The tariff is fixed for 13 months.N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. Ripple Kirk Hill member.
