Private parking - hatched areas

The picture shows a hatched area but does anyone know the difference between a boxed hatched area on the right and the non boxed area on the left and why both areas were not just the same?
Does one have a greater priority over the other are are they both deemed as no parking areas?

Assuming this is Asda, take the picture in to Customer Services and ask them the question. After all, the sign says Happy to Help.4

If their explanation is anything like the sign you have no chance!
How can something with so little information be so contradictory?Your life is too short to be unhappy 5 days a week in exchange for 2 days of freedom!2 -
It has literally no meaning because they are just lines on private land with no explanation.PolePosition2 said:The picture shows a hatched area but does anyone know the difference between a boxed hatched area on the right and the non boxed area on the left and why both areas were not just the same?

How can a store be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, yet closed between 2am and 5am on three of them. You couldn't make it up! 😂BikingBud said:If their explanation is anything like the sign you have no chance!
How can something with so little information be so contradictory? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Unless the signage installed by the parking company specifically explains their meaning they are just like the paint on the walls of the building for decoration.3

Would this be sufficient....Sloppyjoe said:Unless the signage installed by the parking company specifically explains their meaning they are just like the paint on the walls of the building for decoration.
"No parking in restricted areas including but not limited to double yellow lines, hatched areas, roadways, pedestrian walkways, grass, doorways, entrances or exits"
It appears that the hatched area in question where I stopped is for the purpose of HGVs unloading even though the sign states "no parking in hatched areas"

"No parking" is prohibitive. Offers nothing of value so there is no contractual breach possible.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Coupon-mad would you go into more detail why "No Parking" is a prohibitive use of words and why it should not be used on a contract and what words should be used instead. Thanks.Coupon-mad said:

If the sign said: Parking on hatched areas will be charged at £100 per visit then there is an offer of a contract there and by parking the driver could be shown to have accepted the cost, but the sign doesn't say this.
