Am I the only person here who gets a double captcha before entering?
When I say a double captcha, I mean a standard captcha with a sum underneath it which needs solving?
If so, are there any ways to circumvent them?
thanks

thanksIt's getting more common to have this type of double check. Why do you want to circumvent them? It only takes a few seconds. If it reduces the chance of bots winning competitions, I'm all for it.It's only the same as a Captcha on entry and the receiving an email in which you need to click on a link to confirm your entry. That's very common.1 -
I get such things but you're more likely to get them if you use one of two things - a) an ISP that is not mainstream or b) a VPN.
Things may be changing in future with new requirements by law for age restricted content (that will include competitions and discussion forums - anything hosted that is not "safe for kids") which will require age verification. The preferred method is both Government accepted photo ID and live, ongoing facial recognition. This is expected to be rolled out by all websites accessible in the UK by July this year and will replace the Captcha as bots won't be able to bypass the age verification. If you think Captcha's are annoying, wait until that rolls out.1 -
