Moving from Octopus Flexible to Outfox The Market Feb 1 Year Fix

Can I pick and choose my direct debit amount like Octopus? I used to credit the account with say £500 and set my DD to £1 and let the credit dwindle down after every meter reading...

How can I do something similar with this company? Seems like I cannot?

    I was with Outfox a few years ago and no, I don't recall any option to set your own DD.
    At that time, they were a budget outfit with a minimalistic website. It might've changed but probably hasn't!

    It looks like it hasnt! Well i will survive a year and maybe head back to Octopus at that point....they are just too expensive now compared to years of being the cheapest

    I have never had an argument with them. But then I have always set it at a reasonable amount.
