    I would avoid using Word style CV templates as these tend to be americanised and fairly different to our british standards that we use..

    Try websites dedicated to UK students leaving university such as Doctorjob (try here ).

    Concentrate more on the content and tailor each CV differently as opposed to having 'one CV fits all'.

    Good luck, CVs are a pain in the !!!!!! :D

    Good advice given at Job Centre Plus see here gives an example. However agree with Genghis, you need to tailor any CV to your application.

    I've used them before and they are pretty good. Just change them to suit your own needs....
