what would a taxi from Harrogate cost? would that be an option?

As Flugenhorn suggests, taxi is likely to be the cheapest option given the comparatively short distances involved.  

I did a quick price check for parking and it appears to be anything from £100 upwards per week and £150 for 2 weeks.  

I would never use anything other than the official airport website to book car parking.  There are too many dodgy operators out there now.

Perhaps I should of been more clear, I'm only travelling from the direction of Harrogate,  from the east of the airport

Sign up to the airport email alerts as they do sometimes have discount codes.  Other than that its Sentinel or Park2travel which are offsite and require a bus transfer.

Taxis impose the usual 'airport tax'. A 7 mile journey is about £50 return and that's for drop off in the free area, not the terminal.  If I get a 7 mile taxi trip not to the airport its £15 each way.
