Sunday Times Where Was I? competition

The prize:

The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, in a luxury cabin on Fingal Hotel – the only five-star floating hotel in Scotland. Launched in 2019 this former Northern Lighthouse Board tender is owned by the team at The Royal Yacht Britannia and berthed nearby in the Port of Leith. Its 22 suites and cabins combine art deco styling with a powerful sense of place – think ocean-liner curves, soft Araminta Campbell fabrics and Scottish map contours in the headboards.

Upstairs, The Lighthouse Restaurant showcases ingredients such as Wester Ross salmon, Isle of Skye langoustine and Black Isle beef. One dinner for two with a bottle of house wine is included in the prize.

The prize must be taken before June 30, 2025, subject to availability and excluding key city dates and the period from April 12 to 28.

Cancellation of booking may render the prize null and void.

The prize excludes extras, drinks and transport.

The prize cannot be exchanged for an alternative or cash.

Terms and conditions are subject to change.
