Best sub £400 washing machine

Hi

Looking for some recommendations for a sub £400 standalone washine machine. Our current one which is a samsung ( 1400spin, lots of options ) has finally bitten the dust after 7 years. 

Ideally one that has a long warranty and when it does go wrong doesnt cost a fortune to fix !

Don't read the thread started today on someone claiming from that LG 5 year warranty. 1 months and counting with no resolution.

This is what Good Housekeeping UK recommend Best washing machines to buy 2025 UK – tested by experts.
The budget best buy for £369 doesn't seem to come with much of a warranty and I also noticed that the joint  best machine AEG currently costs £529 at AO so quite a lot to consider and compare.

There is also this more recent Which article Best washing machines 2025: our expert picks from independent tests - Which? but you do need a subscription to read the results. My local library has a subscription which readers can access in their branches so maybe you could see it that way.
