St James Place compensation for investments before 31st December 2012

I complained to SJP under their historic review of ongoing service - I've never had a review since my original partner retired shortly after i invested.
My complaint has been rejected because my plans were set up before the different charging regulations were set up in December 2012.
I'm sure I am not the only one affected by this.
Why should it be OK to give a poor/non existent service to pre Dec 2012 plans?
Has anyone tried complaining further?

How much were you paying for reviews that you didn't receive, or was there any commitment given to providing reviews within an overall servicing fee?
Did SJP provide the relevant information about how to escalate to FOS if you're dissatisfied with their response to your complaint?0 -

The Retail distribution review (RDR) started on 1st January 2013. SJP was commission before that date and didn't have to provide ongoing servcingI'm sure I am not the only one affected by this. The RDR affected all retail financial services. So, no you are not.Why should it be OK to give a poor/non existent service to pre Dec 2012 plans?Because you never had an agreement in place to provide ongoing servicing prior to 2013. So, why do you think you should have had them?Probably as some people have no common sense. They wont have got anywhere though.
Has anyone tried complaining further?
