Times are hard for us all now, prices are rising all the time, income for me stays the same.
I love yellow sticker shopping and bargains and happy to spend to save in the long run. I have my own little goals and dreams so posting will encourage me not to give up. I have posted this pic on another thread which I will still follow but thought a thread just about this would be good, hope you will join in to, I love to see what bargains others find, I also love a freebie.
So to start this off:
My local Boots has had a bit of a makeover and change around, I discovered a clearance section upstairs ( I am hoping it is going to be a permanant feature) I found these boxes of ex large Colgate total for 75p each, I am a single household so these will last me a while, there were loads on the shelf, I always consider others and never clear the shelves like some do. I am going to pop down each week to see was on the clearance section and start a cupboard for stock piling such bargains I am happy to spend like this as such big savings in the long run.

I stocked up on Aldi Winter Blend ground coffee in the sales, buying two at £1.99, and a week later when it was 99p at the till, I let DH take the groceries to the car while I went back for another four. Like you, I leave some for others. It was well in date, and as we make just one jug of filter coffee a day, it will last.8

The reduced section is about the only place for discounts now. Gone are the days where you'd see bogof offers. Swings and roundabouts though, you've got to have a big freezer to store it well, I also notice that Aldi and Lidl chicken goes off very quickly in the fridge when opened, even if you keep it in a sealed bag.4

I keep an eye out for reduced bargains.
So far this week I've grabbed 4 radox shower gels at 50p each.
3 large liquid soaps 50p each
2 large fairy washing up liquid Christmas edition £1.50 each
3 Stacey Solomon air freshners 58p each.
Also grabbed yellow sticker fish pie mix x 2.
Radox and soap I shared with DD.7 -
My OH spotted a 10 pack of Starbucks coffee pods for £1. It was a seasonal flavoured one so they were obviously trying to clear out the stock. He only bought one as he wasn't sure it was going to be nice and of course by the time he'd tried it and went back they were all gone. It's a case of being decisive sometimes.

Brie I have found that out as well, sometimes you just have to take a chance don't you, worse case scenario if not to taste could mix with something else.
Mandy47 you did very well, well done.5 -
Does anyone have a really good stockpile of bargains already? would love to see your stash if you do. I am clearing a shelf to make room for any good buys. I remember back when couponing was all the rage, the amount some people had especially the Americans they had whole rooms, bit excessive for little me.2

I rare do much shopping now as I live with my DD and son-in-law and they buy the main shop. But if I see stuff like washing up liquid or oil or loo rolls, basically stuff I can stash that will save them some cash I get it
i had a birthday last week and got thoroughly spoilt by my grandchildren with lots of goodies
my eldest granddaughter sent me a gorgeous hamper from Fortnum & Masons full of yummy stuff that I’d probably think twice before buyin I must admit their ground coffee was gorgeous and goodness knows how much it is a tin but it’s a morning treat in my new cafetière (also a pressie ) but despite all of the super stuff I shall be going to Ryde on Friday and will have a good mooch around the Poundland then probably go to some of the supermarkets to see what’s on offer.
a couple of weeks ago I snaffled in Tesco so Bisto Christmas gravy granules which are a little spicy but very nice. They were 50p a tub so I got four tubs and my son-in-law adds some of them to curries and chillies as we like spicy food. At 50p a pop well worth stashing away
I also managed to grab some fancy flavoured stuffing mix from the left over Christmas stock that was being cleared out, well in date and only 40 p a box instead of 1.50 it’s odds and ends that you can stash away that come in handy during the coming months
i have a drawer at the bottom of my wardrobe where I stash money saving odds and ends. I also put cash into the food pot towards the shopping anyway, but if I see something that’s a bargain I will buy it and it goes into the general kitchen cupboards as well
