Chester Zoo safari lodges

The prices on these is “gulp”

In the spirit of MSE - may be cheaper to fly to Africa and see the animals in the wild

I had a look, to book one night in September (OH and I birthdays) was very expensive.

Chester and Chester Zoo are lovely, well worth visiting and there’s plenty of much cheaper  accommodation locally.  I went to the Zoo a few years ago in February, not much happening, the only newborn were baby tapirs which were super cute.

My BFF had moved in with her parents who lived close to Chester so it was a cheap trip  :)
