Here’s something to be aware of from McDonalds. I ordered a delivery and when it arrived it was missing one item. I rang them and they gave me a number which sorts out incomplete deliveries. 08000885663. They said it was not McDonalds policy to make any refund and that was that… Is this legal?

I've had refunds from mc Donald's before. But not on delivery. So policy must be a delivery policy not an overarching one if it does exist

When I've physically been and got home with missing items I've been back up requested new food that's hot and a refund and received both.

The staff in that sense have always been amazing. Would be better if they were amazing and getting the order right in the first place though

When you order via the McD app it's delivered by Uber, when I've had stuff missing I just go onto the Uber support chat and they sort the refund out. Pointless phoning the McD branch. There is a reason why they can't read the screen and put the correct items in the bag.

I've never had a McDonalds delivered, but when I've collected from drive thru's and later found some items weren't in the bag, I've just went to the website on the receipt with the code and have always got a refund by way of a voucher sent quickly by return.

The other week we ordered Latte's which felt oddly light, and on opening them they were both only about 60% full. I noted this on the receipt survey and received discount vouchers totalling about £6.
