Zurich life insurance

hi to all
Planning to take life insurance with critical insurance.and my broker suggested Zurich.
is it this good insurance company.
Age 40 and cover looking for 2,00,000 till 70 years.
any suggestions

They're Switzerland's largest insurer and have been operating in the UK since 1922. Like most large insurance groups they offer a range of products from cheap/basic through fully featured and up to high net worth.
I'm not a fan of Critical Illness, much prefer PHI as an income replacement rather than lump sum. Just make sure you read the policy book thoroughly to understand exactly which conditions you are covered for as anything not listed isnt covered even if it is a major illness. Also be aware that those terms are fixed for 30 years and so something covered today may not be covered in 20 years time if medical treatments have changed (had a relative declined a CI claim as heart issues were only covered if they required open chest surgery which would have been the case for his illness when he took the policy but at point of claim his procedure is now done by keyhole surgery so didn't qualify).1
