I'm getting legal advice at lunchtime. I will probably just sign it, I need the money as my new job doesn't start until 5/3....but I'd love to take them to a tribunal and see how they like that
From what you've said I don't see any reason to think you would be successful at a tribunal.

Given what you have said in the other thread (linked by born_again) I really think getting involved in an ET claim is the last thing you need!

    Honestly? Move on.....
  • There is literally nothing you’ve posted in this thread that indicates you’d have any success at tribunal. I‘m sorry you were bullied and they’re a crap employer but being a crap employer isn’t unlawful.

    Take the money and run.

Anything I post is solely MY OPINION. It never constitutes legal, financial or collective bargaining advice. I may tell you based on information given how I might approach an employment dispute case, but you should always seek advice from your own Union representative. If you don't have one, get one!

That is a fair assessment of the situation.

You've obviously never attended a hearing at an ET. If they employ a lawyer, you'd be tied in knots and made to look an absolute idiot (I've yet to see a lay person survive the process unscathed, let alone triumphant) - and if the local press are having a quiet day and report the case, it won't be the employer who is struggling to find a new job...
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
