    It's probably a solid wall, but as FreeBear has stated you can never be 100% certain by looking at the brick bond alone. For example, Mock Flemish bond used snapped headers to form a cavity wall, but look like a solid one.
    A wall built in Stretcher bond can be a 9 inch solid wall.
    The tiles are put in to give some protection to the windows.
