looking at the renewals on octopus is now shown 2 fixes 1 inc a loyal with a slight reduction in gas price, maybe worth checking if you have just renewed in the last 24hrs

The loyal tariff beats the new Feb v2 fix, but is higher than my Dec fix for gas, and Jan fix for electric. (East Midlands.)

Thanks for the info though @northernstar007. I usually just check the new tariffs without going into my account, which would miss any loyalty ones.

as i said this loyalty is based on if you have taken the newer deal in the last 24/48hrs
the north east version is only slighly lower but other areas looks as a bigger reduction
i'm on sept24 fix at 5.52p till boxing day obviously i'm sticking with that

Nothing cheaper for me when I checked last night - in fact the V2 February fix is now showing slightly higher on the unit rate than my V1.

I took the 16M fix just over a week ago.  Just moved to the loyal one as its about £7 cheaper a month for me.

If Tomato ever sort out their smets1 issue before they go bust,   I'll move that way though.

Just spotted this. I'm seeing a 10.2% increase in what's now on offer with 16 month fix over the 12 month fix I did back in October. Cannot see any fix version, just that it's 16 month and is identical to the flexible rate.
