Parking Eye

Hi All

Had a PCN from this bunch last month and paid it on 2nd Feb. Had a receipt acknowledging this. On Monday 10th Feb had a further PCN demand from them stating that the amount was outstanding and that I had until 6th February to pay!! I have copied all of the correspondence and receipt and sent it to them requiring confirmation, again, that I have paid. Do I now wait for their lawyers to browbeat me?

Go to the BPA AOS members list and look at the complaints link

Add an official complaint to Parking Eye using the process, just to be sure

There was no need to pay it - the invoice wasn't a fine and to my memory, you are the first person here in years to tell us you just paid a ParkingEye charge.

    Why?

This is disappointing given the wealth of clear advice here and the rogue industry in general.  You have funded a questionable racket, IMHO.

...and there was no need to do a complaint because that second letter is merely the standard Reminder. Automatically sent and it clearly just crossed with your payment.

    Don't pay PPCs.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Not too sure that's right. I know someone who had the same thing with ParkingEye and was chased in the civil courts for payment.

We know tens of thousands. Of course they can try court. Re-read my advice. I covered that in detail. Never just pay one.
