I am selling my house, and will have a period between selling and buying, I wonder what is the best interest offered for larger sums of money, subject to splitting into 85K FSA protection, I already have an cash ISA

You don't need to worry about £85k FSCS if the sale and purchase are within 6 months as high balances are protectedRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

Normally you do not get preferential rates for holding larger sums with the mainstream providers, although there might be a few exceptions, and a few institutions with good rates will have a larg(ish) minimum amount you can save.0
