eBay price search not working

Options
Not sure what's going on with this.

I have an item that i listed at £22.49
After the buyer fee is added it shows on ebay as £24.11

If I copy & paste the item title into the search bar it is the first (and only) listing returned in the search results.

If I go into filter and set a price range of
£22.25 to £25 the item no longer shows.

What's even stranger is I have to drop the minimum price to £22.41 for the item to show up again.
Setting £22.42 or above returns no results.

It looks like the ebay price search is still using the price the seller listed the item at*
Obviously no good as buyers will be searching for the price they want to pay.

*although even that doesn't seem to be working correctly?

maybe i search differently than others but i just type i item i want and just use cheapest first and work my way through listings on condition /distance and feedback from there

the only scenario i can imagine this would vary for me is if there were a 1000 listings the exact same item

as you are the only item , so it must be rare, there is not going to be anyone i am guessing who is going to search using specific price only

    It's a feature I quite often use.
Mainly to weed out the sellers that list a 'sample' at 99p so they come out top in a 'lowest price' search.

It's also good for price comparison.  If I find one seller selling exactly the type of pen I want at £9.99 for a pack of 10 I can refine the price to £9.85-£10.50 and maybe find someone selling a pack of 12 for £10.49.

    yes i understand that
i use nearest first when i am looking for an item that has issues like your example  as i find first 100 are from china

say for a tv remote replacement i look for cheapest uk seller who has a new one and check there delivery time proving they are in the uk

but i first type in what i want and when a situation like you describe arises with 100s of multiples then i narrow it down using search tools like condition  / location / price / feedback

with your item being rare and hard to find item , everyone is just going to just type in the item into search bar
