Parking Fine - Court Process - Total Parking Solutions

Hello,

I am after some help from the brilliant parking experts. I’ve already read the newbies thread.

parked in a spot last year - completely forgot to do the parking (I have two children with me and was more focused on keeping them out of Trouble).

my vehicle is a lease through work and I didn’t receive fine correspondence.

They’ve taken court action and I’ve filed my defence today.

The Crux is that the landowner have requested Total Parking Solutions remove the fine and stop court proceedings - they came back with a counter of £170 but won’t stop. Can they do this if instructed by the landowner?

I’ve emailed TPS directly asking them to withdraw the claim based on the landowner request - and landowner has done the same.

included it in my initial defence -
will I then be asked to submit further defence, witness statement etc?

Informed my MP as well - but he doesn’t know latest regarding landowner.

Any advice much appreciated.

Follow the 12 steps in the defence template thread

Your defence is already completed and filed,  so extremely unlikely to require another,  unless a judge orders it

    Mediation will be next

The N180 stage will arrive in due course

Eventually it will be transferred to your local civil court

Eventually you will serve a witness statement plus Exhibits bundle to both parties

Then a discontinuation or court hearing at your local civil court

Yes they can continue, but the landowner request is good ammunition for you
