I will not be doing anything now regarding the house. And sadly it does appear i am a victim of financial abuse at this point...  we were working through our marriage but the minute the money hit the joint account for the remortgage he kicked me out. We worked together, and he paid my wage into the joint account I never received it ( he would say if you need anything just ask) and he put it back into to the business account again, his business account. Oh my God I could be sick i feel so stupid.... looking back it's so obvious! It wasn't until I had my own account and my own job  he started demanding I paid towards bigger bills even though it would leave me ultimately penniless every month.... I honestly don't know how some people can even do this!
you can find yourself ending up with someone that you wonder why and how did you ever get into this situation.  i and my ex are going through a divorce and we are still close but i often wonder why i ever stayed with him and how i ended up in the relationship for so long.

you sort of get dragged along and until you are free from it, you can't see the woods for the trees so i can see why that has happened to you.

just step back and let him sort the mess out or not as he is living there and you are not.
