Can we still pay by card for postage on EBay?

I have funds on EBay and just getting used to their postage changes. Does anyone know if we can still pay postage by credit/debit card or must we buy through EBay? I use my M&S credit card for absolutely everything because they send out vouchers in the form of £s off. Even lots of small postage prices can help to add to the total spend with my card in a year. I've just paid for EBay's postage label but have another parcel to send. I can't see anywhere to choose another payment method. I'm assuming if I had no funds there that it might then offer to pay the postage by card. Thanks for any help.

AFAIK ebay fees (including ebay postage) are automatically taken from your eBay balance, or if the balance is insufficient charged to your registered payment method. Unlike with a purchase you don't get the option so you would have to withdraw your balance.1

Thanks for your help. I thought it might be only through EBay now as they're charging the buyer more than what I had charged so their way of getting more money. No choice but to accept their changes sadly.savergrant said:AFAIK ebay fees (including ebay postage) are automatically taken from your eBay balance, or if the balance is insufficient charged to your registered payment method. Just be careful transcribing the address, then mark as despatched and add the tracking details manually.Rantband said:1 -
So do you mean that we don't have to buy our postage through EBay now with the changes? We can still buy through the Royal Mail website ourselves as we've been used to doing, or with Evri etc? I always copy and paste the addresses so that part is okay but we can still go on and add the tracking on EBay if we buy the postage outwith them?savergrant said:

Currently there is absolutely no need to buy postage labels from eBay, you can continue to go direct to RM or a courier yourself . Then just add the tracking number, if there is one, to the sale.ailey said:

At the bottom of the page where you purchase you label via eBay, you have the option to use your eBay balance or PayPal.
Choose PayPal and you can then use your card via PayPal.1 -
I realised I was still using paypal on one accounts - found the page to opt for choosing another payment method- and once you switch it defaults to that new system unless you change it again, so card is definitely possible.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
