Is my gas usage normal / reasonable for a 1 bedroom flat?

I'm with ovo and here's my daily usage for January, which is basically peak winter
So from the 1st of Jan to 31st of Jan I used on average £2.12 of gas per day. This includes the 30p standing charge.
I have an electric cooker and take showers instead of baths.
I think it's pretty low, I'm living by myself in a 1 bedroom flat and I'm reasonably tolerant of temperature and I'm happy to wear warm joggers and a jumper if I'm a little chilly, rather than keep the heating on 24/7.
I think I have it on for roughly about 4 hours per day. (2 hours when I immediately get home from work and 2 hours before bed.)

That sounds very good to me. We have a 4 bedroom house with a teenager who's always leaving doors open. We use about £5/day on gas, and our standing charge is 29.35p/day. We do tend to leave it on low all the time though, as our house is quite inefficient due to open plan and a rubbish plastic conservatory roof, plus old windows and doors that don't seal properly0

OVO do provide a comparison of sorts both on the web and in the app, but it's not particularly reliable. It does give an indication, though, of whether you're using a lot more or less than similar households in your area.
It's always helpful to say where you live when talking about energy costs; the first part of your postcode should be enough to remove any doubt.

In general you're right, but most people right now are paying between 5.5p and 6.5p a kWh for gas, which I think is a narrow enough spread that general comparisons (like the ones in this thread) can be made safely.... when comparing usage with other households, the £ amounts are pretty meaningless because of regional and other variations in the rates. For meaningful comparisons, give the usage figures in m³ or kWh.N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. Ripple Kirk Hill member.

We are in a 6 year old modern 3 bed detached house in the east midlands and our daily average spend for gas for the January billing period was £2.53 including the standing charge.0

That would indicate that SneakySpectator's £2.15 for the same period but for a 1-bed flat is anything but 'pretty low'. However, with capped unit rates varying from 5.98 to 6.97p/kWh and standing charges from 31.30 to 36.32p/day, it could be quite reasonable.I'm not being lazy ...

Infact the OP has stated their SC is 30p so if you factor 6p kwh for gas it won't be far off 30kwh0
