Impressive in some ways if you have "an individual annual income of at least £100,000, and pay it into your HSBC Premier Bank Account." If you're employed (v self-employed) perhaps you may already receive such benefits?

The reviews of "Square Health", the company providing the health"benefits" made interesting reading.

That is the new requirement, it was 75k before and from own experience I don't know how they analysed as I was offered to sign up when at the time I didn't meet the criteria. Perhaps they have taken into account all my expense payments, which must have bumped me into the eligible customer range. Have taken advantage of their 0% interest £500 overdraft since and the travel insurance is very handy too. Will take advantage of the free blood test and when the new requirements kick in I am probably downgraded again. Barclays also let me join their premium service and I have literally no transactions with them. Again, will enjoy the free Apple+ subscription service from them until it lasts.

Indeed, reviews are rather bad. No idea how HSBC assessment managed to find this provider. probably every other more reputable one was too expensive.

I question the value of this. As most large companies provide this, a lot of people earning 100k plus will be employed there or pay for it anyway.

I hope some features are coming for advanced customers.

£2k death cover and only if the death is due to cancer... I'm not really sure who they think this might be valuable for, but surely it doesn't align well to an account with a minimum salary of £100k (or significant savings)?

I'm going to take a wild guess that there may have been some funny handshakes involved

Now I would have said this is the card for the advanced account, or very similar. But it's on the premier page.

    Not looking good for advanced.
