EDF Simply Tracker Extra Apr26
Options
Just signed up to EDF Simply Tracker Extra Apr26 . Have 14 days cooling off to cancel. Says in newspapers that it won't be available for long. I think I have understood it. Basically about £100 less in standing charges over the year and that the unit rates for the gas and electricity are as if in standard variable. Is my reading of it about right.
Edit. I Just quickly clicked on the EDF email giving their cap price which about is £100 forecast increase.

Hi
Could I just ask how for in the future you could choose to switch?

It says £50 exit fees. That's £25 of gas and £25 for electricity. I was thinking that if in 6 months a better deal comes along then at least I'd saved £50. And then switch. Don't trust me though. Loads know better than me. I got the email today and clicked accept but have 14 days to cancel.0

I've applied it to my account. i don't really want to change supplier and it saves me £100. Not a fortune but every bit helps.0
