Godaddy Stock

Hi everyone,

I was looking at Godaddy Inc (NYSE: GDDY) and it has had some excellent returns of around 205%. The growth in the share price started around November 2023 and it has done excellent.

What was the main factors that caused this rapid growth in the share price starting in November 2023 please?

I am 58 and i am looking to experiment with a very small amount of my pension in investments. I work full time so could only commit to around 5 - 10 hours a week to researching a stock.

How much of that 5-10 hours research have you spent thus far on this stock, and what has that unearthed?

Hi eskbanker,

To date i have found out that Godaddy is the worlds fifth largest web host by market share. I have also researched into detail about what the company offers and its price points to competitors. Such as domain registration, web hosting, website builder, email services and marketing tools.

I am wondering where i should go from here please with my research? So my 5 hours research got me the background to what Godaddy does and looking closely at the services it offers.

Just looking at the chart suggests every man and his dog got in ahead of you. It announces its next results after the US close on Thursday (13/02/25) so there might be some more movement after that.

That's the problem with share tips. We are usually near the end of the food chain and most of the news is already priced in.
