I sent a box to this company in good faith containing some 22ct gold coins plus other gold silver and antique items. After waiting a week I heard nothing from hem so contacted them via email I enclosed proof of sending they said they hadn’t received my box, so I tracked my box and obtained the proof that the box had been delivered, I emailed phoned and wrote to Vintage Cash cow all was ignored. After 6 weeks I managed to speak to someone in customer services only to be told my box was lost and blamed the delivery company. I was then offered £300 compensation for a box containing 22ct gold coins etc I was told that this was the most they could pay under their insurance policy. I refused the amount and said it was theft I was not informed that my expenses items would not be insured nor is it written. This company advertises on national Television. This should be stopped and people warned I am not the only person this has happened to.

Did you contact them and request the extra (free) insurance?
I guess not from what you have posted.

But it is written on the website, it does tell you that you are only covered by the insurance for £300 unless you use the 'higher tier' insurance. Its in the terms and conditions and you sign the box to say you have you read them.1
