Demand from eBay to verify my account

Is there any way around this? Been a customer since 2007. Only a buyer for last few years....some of you will understand that decision. I don`t have a smartphone up & running & my camera-desktop PC connection has failed, the problem is within the PC gubbins. No way I want to provide a poxy company with my mug shot, private details etc. They already have my tel no, address & DOB, that`ll do me.

I think I done this when PayPal was being replaced in favor of your bank. I don't remember adding a photo paper driving license and a BT bill. I'll check. I thought it was for new accounts that it requires photos

Much appreciated TL1. Good little thread. I won`t be complying with ebay`s demand.
Only spoke with them a couple of months ago, but finding a way of doing that again has thus far evaded me. I get sent around a catch22 continual loop.
Odd this happens when I`m in the midst of attempting to deal with a couple of wayward sellers.
