E:?? Win a holiday in Tenerife (lots of other prizess too)

This arrived via email in my compers inbox. Not sure about the company - Prizebox. I'm wondering if it's a bit "my offers-ish".

Anyway, this is the Tenerife holiday they mailed me about - I'd be interested to hear others' opinions of the company before I enter! (Although the fact they've got my email address should indicate that I've already signed up with them, but this, I think, is the first email I've had from them.)

Think it's just a case of signing up with them although they do say in the rules that you should expect to be contacted.

I used to live in Los Cristianos :o

I don't want to sound pessimistic, but the questions asked (income, property and children) are the typical questions a timeshare seller needs to know in order to know if you could be a potential buyer! I would stay away from this company (I worked in the industry)

I agree with Emmedi, sounds like timeshare to me.
  • I wonder if this is the same thing im getting telephone calls from.

I remember entering a comp on MSE then thinking to myself i shouldnt have done that, looks like a time share, then thought nothing else about it untill now. Im getting telephone calls approx 4 times a week from the company wanting to know if i have children, own my own home & if i have a credit card.

    Be wary before accepting anything.
  • I clicked the link to this and something tried to access my pc registry. My anti-virus stopped it and so did I! Dont want my pc being taken over with ads or worse. Even very much worse if timeshare. I go to Tenerife every year. When we see a young person (usually British) walking towards us with scratchcards, I go left and my wife goes right! If I wanted timeshare I would go and find it. Much rather go on internet and get cheaper hols!

tell them you are single, no kids and either 20 y.o. or 75 y.o (depending on your voice :rotfl:) and unemployed.
It will take you off their records.
