I could never understand why Tado never expanded into the Smart Home space with other products. Since I bought mine, around 2017, they have done nearly nothing in terms of innovate or product expansion. I can only imagine revenue is needed and thus charging people for products they already own is an easy and lazy way to achieve that.1
